MacGyver is here to save the day! This dog is the definition of a sweetie pie. When he sees people, he gets so excited that he jumps up and down in glee. He loves to both go on walks and just be held, so he is the perfect rescue dog for the owner who likes a balance of "play time" and "snuggle time". Likely due to past abuse, MacGyver is initially shy with men that he doesn't know. Don't let that put you off though - if you go slow with him at first, then he will quickly become your best friend no matter what your gender is. He's normally great with people, even strangers, but is a little more easily frightened than the average dog. Because of this, he should only go to a home with children if the kids are older and can understand his needs.
