ADOPTING A THERAPY DOG

New Leash On Life offers the unique ability to adopt a Therapy dog. Teaming up with an already trained and certified therapy dog can be incredibly rewarding to an individual wishing to rescue a pet as well as offer support to individuals in need.

As with all of our animals, we ask potential adopters to fill out an application, have an interiew and a home check and sign an adoption contract. Additionally, those adopting a Therapy dog must complete the terms of a foster contract first, attend Lend a Paw training sessions and locations and make a minimum adoption donation of $500.
