Each year, hundreds of thousands of dogs are killed in Los Angeles. These animals deserve the chance to be great companions once rescued and placed into loving homes or trained to become therapy or assistance dogs. Since its inception in 1997, NLOL has been successful in rescuing and placing over 5,000 animals as relocating over 200 "Ruffugees" from the Katrina and Rita hurricanes. A small passionate staff and hundreds of dedicated volunteers make these miracles happen along with the concern and generosity of supporters like you. NLOL is proud to disclose that 80% of your donation is delivered to the various programs.
