Beau is a big dog and has had some issues in the past with being a bit overprotective. He will be protective of whomever he bonds to. He requires an owner who understands dogs and is willing to work with him so he won’t be so protective. He isn’t a door-greeter, but he is a great watch dog and he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to his owner. He just wants to protect who he loves and he is getting better as we work with him. Overall, this one issue isn’t enough to keep him in a kennel the rest of his life. Beau is too special of a dog and he deserves a wonderful life. You can’t blame him for wanting to keep his owner safe—he is a big teddy bear who needs someone who will work with him.
Beau can also sit, shake, and down.
